Biodiversity crisis and pandemics
Insights gained from monitoring bats
Humans are encroaching on wildlife everywhere. This can result in pathogens crossing the species barrier and jumping from animals to humans. Bats are often immediately determined culprits, but are they?
We need to find out more about their interactions with other wildlife and humans, and where these interactions occur, to shed light on this major link between human and ecosystem health.
